Members will receive a refund of three months’ union fees in mid-November 2026.

There’s a financial bonus on the way from your union.
Fødevareforbundet NNF has decided that members who had been members for at least one year as of 1 October 2026 will receive a refund of three months’ union fees in mid-November 2026.

The refund is partly due to Fødevareforbundet NNF having held shares in Arbejdernes Landsbank. When the bank merged with Vestjysk Bank and Sydbank in January 2026, the union received a financial return.

Your bonus depends on how much you paid in union fees

The amount you receive in November depends on how much you paid in union fees in January, February and March 2026.

If, for example, you paid the full union fee of DKK 422.00 per month, DKK 1,266 will be paid into your NemKonto account. Spread over a year, this is equivalent to a reduction in your union fees of approximately DKK 100 per month.

Who will receive a refund?

You must have been a member of Fødevareforbundet NNF for at least one year as of 1 October 2026 to qualify for the member bonus. If you have been a member for a shorter period, you instead received two months’ free union membership when you joined.

How much will you receive?

You will receive a refund of your union fees for January, February and March 2026.
If, for example, you paid the full union fee of DKK 422.00 per month during the first three months of the year, you can look forward to DKK 1,266 being paid into your "NemKonto" account.

When will you receive the money?

Your three months’ union fees will be refunded to your "NemKonto" account in week 46. Fødevareforbundet NNF will notify the Danish tax authorities (SKAT).

Which fees does the refund cover?

The three-month refund applies to your trade union fees. This means you will not receive a refund of fees paid to your unemployment insurance fund (a-kasse), contributions to the early retirement scheme (efterløn) or premiums for Alka’s accident insurance, if you pay for these.
